I am a philosopher who works broadly in social choice theory and related fields such as social epistemology and philosophy of science. Much of my work is fundamentally about questions of institutional design, particularly at the intersection of individual decision-making and group decision mechanisms.
Before joining LSE, I attended Carnegie Mellon University and received my MSc in Logic, Computation, and Methodology. Prior to this, I received my BA in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth. In April, I will be joining the team of 'Model Transfer' at the University of Hannover.
If you are interested in what I am doing, you can find more detailed descriptions of my work in the research section.
All pictures on this website are from Paul Klee. They make me smile. Maybe they do the same for you. This one is called die Hexe mit dem Kamm, 1922 (The Witch with the Comb).
